Editions Note: At least 21 editions: three editions in 1784 (London, London, Boston); eight editions the following year in 1785 (London, Bennington (VT), Hartford, New Haven, Philadelphia, Trenton (NJ), Dublin, Amsterdam), two 1786 editions (Richmond, Philadelphia), a Dutch langauge translation in 1788 (Rotterdam), a 1795 edition in New Haven, an 1805 edition. Additionally, there were a number of translations including a 1784 French language edition (Paris), a 1785 Dutch language edition entitled, Aanmerkingen over de gewigtigheid der staatsomwenteling in Noord-Amerika, en over de middelen om die voor de geheele waereld nuttig te maaken, (Amersterdam); and again in 1788 Dutch language edition (Rotterdam). In the French edition, the translator, Honoré Gabriel Riquetti, Count de Mirabeau, included his translation of Price's work alongside his own remarks and retitled the combined work, Considérations sur l'Ordre de Cincinnatus, ou imitation d'un pamphlet anglo-américain ( London (1784, 1785) and Rotterdam (1788). This French translation was in turn translated back into English, titled, Considerations on the Order of Cincinnatus, and published in Philadelphia and London in 1785, and again in 1786 in Philadelphia.

APS owns 11 copies: two copies of the 1784 Boston edition, one copy of the 1784 London edition, two copies of the 1785 Dublin edition [ 1 , 2 ], three copies of the 1785 London edition [ 1 , 2 , 3 ], 1 copy of the 1785 Philadelphia edition, and one copy of the 1795 New Haven edition. APS also owns one copy of the 1785 London edition of the English translation of, Considerations on the order of Cincinnatus.
